September Meeting: Stretching Creative Limits and Beating Writers’ Block
From the inaugural foodie CopyBrawl to twaiku’d CD reviews, I’m always on the lookout for new ways to stretch my creative limits and break through writer’s block.
At our Commpose meeting on Tuesday, September 15, we’ll flex our creative muscles together by tackling some interactive copywriting exercises!
I’ll cook up some drills and lead the discussion, but everyone will have to get involved. Afterward, we’ll open the floor to discuss specific writing projects you’re working on. So bring a notebook, your favorite pen and writing challenges from your day-to-day gig.
Since we’ll need a little elbow room to write, we’re going to take advantage of the ample table space at Gangplank in Chandler at 6pm. Kim will send out details regarding the food sometime this week.
So mark your calendars for September 15 and join us to stretch those copywriting wings!
You mean I hafta write stuff at dis here meetin’?
Stretch? Flex? Tackle? Exercise? Perhaps the gym will be less work…?
Thanks, Matt. Looking forward to it…
@jen don’t forget ‘beating’!
I love interactivity, Scribedevil! And I get to combine it with writing? Yipee! By the way, anyone that’s ever thought about writing a novel some day, should check out http://www.nanowrimo.org/ – I plan on doing it.
@Kim — I “rest” my case.
Stretch? Flex? Tackle? Exercise? Beat? I must have football on the brain. It tends to happen this time of year.
